Please take a moment to validate your security
[A] the URL at the top of your browser window should now be reading: https://kofibusia.com/santa_cruz/TheShopFront.html (The 's' denotes 'secure).
[B] there should be a "closed padlock" or similar icon somewhere on the status bar of your browser window. In the latest versions of "Internet Explorer" and "Netscape Navigator", it should be on the bottom right. In older versions of Netscape Navigator it is at the bottom left; and in the latest version of the "Opera" browser it is at the top left, etc. Unfortunately, different browsers place the icon in different places, but you should be able to see it. In some cases, if you hold your mouse over the padlock (or other) icon, you will see an information box reading something like: "SSL Secured 128-bit"; or else "Signed by Equifax"; or else "TLS v1.0 128 bit C4 (1024 bit RSA/SHA)" or something similar, again depending upon your browser. This further indicates that this is a secure site. Some browsers also add a yellow background to the URL locator information.
[C] depending upon the age and make of your browser, and also on your browser's settings, you should also have been presented with a security certificate to review before you arrived here ... or else your browser might have validated the certificate automatically and simply presented you with a message saying that this site possessed a secure certificate, which had been properly verified, and additionally confirming that the security certificate was up to date.
Ideally all three of the above conditions should hold, but unfortunately browsers differ. If you have done some on-line shopping before without problems, then please just ensure that your browser is behaving consistently with those other occasions. If you are unsure and find that none of the above three conditions hold, then it is possible that this web page, along with any key presses and mouse clicks that you intend to make, are being intercepted by some third-party -- meaning that your credit card and your personal details are not guaranteed to be secure
If you do find that none of the above three conditions (in particular [A]) holds and you therefore feel uneasy, then please leave the site before filling in any personal or sensitive information, and return at some later time to try to complete your transaction. Also please remember that you can always go to the pdf version of the course booklet and then print out and mail in the application form to be found there. The full schedule of class times is available in a separate pdf file here. Thank you.
